Programmable CNC Operator - Watseka, IL

Pay: $16.75/hr
Shift: Full-time, 10-hour shift Monday - Friday, Saturdays as needed

Job Overview:
We're hiring a dependable Coil Feed Operator to help keep our production line running smoothly! You'll set up, operate, and maintain coil feed equipment, ensuring metal coils are accurately fed into press machines while maintaining efficiency, quality, and safety standards.

What You'll Do:

• Load and unload metal coils onto feeding equipment using hoists or cranes
• Set up and operate coil feed lines including straighteners, uncoilers, feeders, and press machines
• Adjust machine settings for proper feed rate, tension, and alignment
• Monitor production runs to ensure quality and consistency
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues
• Accurately document production logs and equipment checks
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding production needs and equipment status
• Identify and report defective materials or machine malfunctions
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Need:

• Previous manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math and problem-solving abilities
• Commitment to workplace safety

Physical Requirements:

• Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy coils using hoists or cranes as needed
• Stand for extended periods of time
