Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently in a manufacturing setting
- Read and interpret measurements using precision tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Make basic CNC program edits as needed
- Monitor machine performance to ensure quality and production standards are met
- Inspect finished parts and identify any quality concerns
- Follow work orders, production schedules, and supervisor instructions
- Accurately record production data, including quantities produced and material usage
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Consistently produce quality parts while meeting production deadlines
Qualifications
- Previous CNC operating experience is required
- Experience with CNC machine setup is preferred
- Ability to read and use measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs as needed
- Comfortable working in a warm manufacturing environment
