However-this firm is truly open to flexible scheduling to support life outside of work, including:
Tax Season Requirements: Saturdays 10am-2pm from Feb 15-April 15.
Off-Season: More time off and/or reduced schedule is available.
If you don't want a traditional 2,000-hour year - that's completely fine here.

Position Overview:
As an Accountant, you'll work directly with the firm's owner and CPA on a wide range of accounting and tax engagements. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare or assist with individual and business tax returns (Forms 1040, 1041, 1120S, 1065, etc.)
- Manage bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Conduct tax research and help ensure accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Engage directly with clients to gather context and ask the right questions - because tax returns and financial statements aren't just numbers. Each client's story, decisions, and intentions shape their financial picture. You'll help translate life events into accurate reporting and a thoughtful tax strategy.
- Maintain organized and confidential accounting records.
- Support ongoing improvements to internal workflows and client service processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required)
- Open to both early-career and experienced accountants (0-10+ years)
- Strong understanding of accounting for small businesses and U.S. tax principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, professionalism and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication with relationship-building skills

Work Schedule & Flexibility:

- Slightly adjusted start/end times for school drop-off and pick-up
- Reduced summer hours
- A workflow that allows children to be in the office after school (homework/snack friendly)
- The option to work full-time during tax season and part-time in off-season
