A local printing company is seeking an Accountant/Bookkeeper. This company is a one-stop provider of digital and offset printing services, signs, graphics, banners and decals in central Illinois.

Job Requirements for Accountant/Bookkeeper

• Previous accounting experience (5 years minimum)
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
• Familiarity with accounting software (Sage preferred)
• Excellent skills in data analysis
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous accounting experience is preferred
• Organizational skills
• Payroll, timekeeping experience is a plus
• Previous tax reporting experience is a plus

Job Responsibilities for Accounting Manager

• Plan, implement and supervise the company's financial strategy across four locations
• Manage the company's financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and inventory
• Manage cash flow
• Manage debt financing requirements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Print checks
• Supervise three direct reports
• Make general ledger and journal entries
• Analyze financial accounting data
• Create financial reports
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
• Process payroll
