Job Requirements for Accounting Manager
- Previous accounting experience (5 years minimum)
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Familiarity with accounting software (Sage preferred)
- Excellent skills in data analysis
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous accounting manager experience is preferred
- Organizational skills
- Payroll, timekeeping experience is a plus
- Previous tax reporting experience is a plus
Job Responsibilities for Accounting Manager
- Plan, implement and supervise the company's financial strategy across four locations
- Manage the company's financial accounts, payroll, budget, cash receipts and inventory
- Manage cash flow
- Manage debt financing requirements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Print checks
- Supervise three direct reports
- Make general ledger and journal entries
- Analyze financial accounting data
- Create financial reports
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Process payroll
