Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Accounts Payable Clerk for a dynamic and evolving accounting team located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $23-$25 per hour. This is a full-time, Evaluation Hire (Permanent) position on day shift, working 8-hour shifts Monday - Friday, with a flexible start time between 8:00-8:30 a.m. (in-office only, no remote work).
Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Clerk supports the Accounting Department by managing invoice processing, vendor communications, and general AP functions. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can work independently with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time, and will contribute to rebuilding and improving internal processes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Front-end management of invoicing and AP workflow
• Monitor and manage the Invoice Inbox and incoming mail
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve discrepancies
• Use Excel for tracking and reporting
• Assist with reconciliation corrections and journal entries
• Participate in SOP development and support side projects
