Job Title: Aluminum Welder - TIG/MIG

Job Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform aluminum TIG and MIG welding to repair, fabricate, and modify molds, tooling, and casting components.
• Inspect and prepare aluminum parts, ensuring surfaces are clean, aligned, and meet welding specifications.
• Assist in the pour-off area, handling and repairing molds, tooling, and fixtures exposed to molten aluminum.
• Maintain and operate welding equipment safely, performing basic maintenance and inspections as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure precise fabrication and repair.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Follow all safety and environmental procedures, especially those related to molten metal and confined-space operations.
• Accurately document weld repairs, modifications, and production activity.

Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in aluminum TIG/MIG welding.
• Experience in pour-off or molten metal environments preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of welding safety standards and best practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
