Responsibilities:
- Provide dependable, high-quality repair and service to customers
- Maximize the productivity and performance of service technicians
- Grow service volume and expand department capabilities
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and profitability of the service department
- Prepare accurate repair estimates for customers
- Develop and oversee processes that streamline parts flow to technicians
- Maintain efficiency of service and parts management software
- Address customer complaints with professionalism and empathy to ensure satisfaction
- Build strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients
- Monitor financial performance, meeting revenue and expense goals
- Establish and track monthly and annual objectives for the department
Qualifications and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in appliance repair, service management, or a related technical field
- Proven leadership experience managing service technicians or field staff
- Strong technical knowledge of commercial laundry or appliance repair equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
- Proficiency in service management or parts inventory software
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Demonstrated success in meeting revenue goals and improving departmental efficiency
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle both team leadership and customer interactions
