Appliance Service Manager

Located in Needham, MA

Our client, a full-service commercial laundry distributor, is looking for an Appliance Service Manager to lead their service department.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing service operations, managing a team of technicians, and ensuring the department consistently delivers high-quality customer service and profitable results.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide dependable, high-quality repair and service to customers
• Maximize the productivity and performance of service technicians
• Grow service volume and expand department capabilities
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and profitability of the service department
• Prepare accurate repair estimates for customers
• Develop and oversee processes that streamline parts flow to technicians
• Maintain efficiency of service and parts management software
• Address customer complaints with professionalism and empathy to ensure satisfaction
• Build strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients
• Monitor financial performance, meeting revenue and expense goals
• Establish and track monthly and annual objectives for the department

Qualifications and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in appliance repair, service management, or a related technical field
• Proven leadership experience managing service technicians or field staff
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial laundry or appliance repair equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
• Proficiency in service management or parts inventory software
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Demonstrated success in meeting revenue goals and improving departmental efficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle both team leadership and customer interactions
