We are seeking a dependable Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Wyoming, IL. This position is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills who enjoy working with tools and assembling quality products.
Responsibilities
- Assemble metal and mechanical components into finished products and subassemblies
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings
- Use hand and power tools, including drills, wrenches, and grinders
- Align, fit, and secure parts using bolts, screws, and welding techniques as needed
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Manufacturing, assembly, or fabrication experience preferred
- Ability to lift, stand, and perform physical work throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
