Shift: 2nd 3:00PM - 12:00AM (overtime likely)

A health-conscious consumer food production and packaging operation in Decatur, IL shipping to niche skin care retailers is looking for a Batch Operator.

Job Requirements for Batch Operator

• Previous food grade manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous backing experience is a plus
• Previous batching or mixing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of food safety protocols
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Able to complete mandatory food safety and general safety training

Job Responsibilities for Batch Operator

• Inspecting and measuring ingredients
• Mixing product
• Operating manufacturing machinery and equipment
• Keep production lines supplied with finished product
• Use pallet jacks
• Record and maintain production documentation
• Follow Good Manufacturing Procedures for cleaning and sanitation
