Account Representative Key Responsibilities
- Assist prospective clients in navigating the MetLife portal while evaluating benefit options
- Answer plan-related and general insurance questions during the shopping process
- Provide clear, accurate guidance on coverage, plan features, and benefits
- Deliver responsive, high-quality service via phone and email
- Support employer groups with employee additions, terminations, and eligibility updates
- Respond to billing inquiries and policy service requests
- Serve as a trusted resource for general benefits-related questions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service experience
Account Representative Qualifications
- Active Life & Health Insurance License (Required)
- Experience supporting employer-sponsored group benefits programs
- Knowledge of: dental, vision, life, short-term disability, and long-term disability plans
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team-oriented with a professional, service-driven mindset
