Job Description

A manufacturing company in West Phoenix is seeking dependable and hardworking Assemblers to build custom wood crates and packaging products in a production environment. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish and comfortable using power tools, reading measurements, and working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Build various sizes of wood crates using blueprints and cut sheets
• Safely operate power tools including nail guns, staple guns, drills, grinders, and hammers
• Use tape measures to ensure accurate measurements within 1/8 inch tolerance
• Assemble crate tops, bases, and skids according to specifications
• Apply foam and adhesives to packaging materials as required
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Follow production schedules and standard operating procedures
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Use basic computer systems to clock in/out of jobs and track production

Qualifications

Required

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• At least 3 months of experience in carpentry, construction, landscaping, assembly, or related work
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read measurements and use a tape measure accurately
• Ability to lift, bend, crouch, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Basic computer skills

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED
• Forklift experience
