About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial records for one of our client companies. This is a remote position, but candidates must live locally in Broward County, as occasional in-person office visits will be required for meetings, document handoffs, or system setup.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
• Process invoices, payments, and payroll as needed
• Prepare financial reports and summaries for management
• Manage general ledger entries and month-end close processes
• Assist with budget tracking and expense categorization
• Communicate with vendors, clients, and team members regarding billing questions
• Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards

Requirements

• Some prior bookkeeping experience required (1+ years preferred)
• Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable internet connection and home office setup
• Must reside in Broward County, FL and be available for occasional office visits
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (not required)
• Experience with payroll processing
