We are seeking a motivated Branch Sales Representative to drive the management and sales of new and used trailers. The ideal candidate will cultivate strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster business growth, schedule meetings to deeply understand their needs, and collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams to uncover and capitalize on new leads. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining market share in a dynamic territory while ensuring seamless inventory management and timely deliveries. Facilitate and Manage Sales: Travel throughout the assigned territory to conduct sales calls on customers and build lasting relationships. Assist in handling incoming calls and walk-in customers related to sales inquiries. Sell new and used trailers both in-store and in the field, preparing accurate sales quotes for clients. Maintain and grow territory market share as defined by sales leadership. Develop a strong understanding of used trailer values and competitors' product lines to inform strategic selling. Collaborate with customer service teams to set up releases and coordinate pickups or deliveries. Manage Sales Lot and Inventory: Create and process purchase orders, reconditioning bills for used trailers, and any necessary repairs or modifications to new trailers. Provide detailed specifications and valuations for used trailers to support inventory decisions. Analyze and Forecast Sales: Review territory sales data, including market analytics, and take proactive actions to enhance market share. Prepare accurate sales forecasts to guide business planning. Support Marketing and Logistics: Assist in executing company marketing plans to promote products effectively. Arrange freight for deliveries to branch or customer locations, ensuring timely coordination. Maintain a weekly delivery log for upcoming trailer shipments. Additional Duties: Generate appointments through proactive outbound prospecting. Work directly with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue opportunities from leads. Demonstrate and impart strong selling and influencing skills to team members and clients. Perform other tasks as assigned by management to support overall sales objectives. Qualifications Must possess or be willing to gain a solid understanding of the hopper and agricultural (AG) industry. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and similar tools. Prior sales experience preferred; 5+ years in a related role is a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record. Willingness to travel as required throughout the assigned territory.
