We are seeking driven and dynamic Business Development/Outside Sales Representatives to expand our customer base and grow revenue across targeted markets. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building lasting client relationships, and delivering tailored solutions that meet customer needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at face-to-face engagement, and brings a consultative approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and territory canvassing
  • Research and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and product demos
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote brand awareness

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Develop strong relationships with prospects and existing clients to understand their needs
  • Present customized solutions and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts
  • Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle
  • Maintain ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction and retention

Sales Strategy & Reporting

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in CRM systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
  • Provide market feedback and insights to support product development and marketing strategies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of outside sales or business development experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B sales, account management, or consultative selling
  • Familiarity with industry-specific solutions (e.g., staffing, logistics, SaaS, construction)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus
  • Knowledge of territory management and strategic selling techniques
