Responsibilities
- Build, install, and repair structures such as framing, walls, floors, and forms
- Set and align concrete forms to proper depth and grade
- Pour, spread, and finish concrete for surfaces like slabs, sidewalks, and foundations
- Smooth, level, and texture concrete using hand and power tools (trowels, floats, screeds)
- Assist with site prep including measuring, layout, and material handling
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Monitor curing process and ensure proper finishing quality
- Work alongside crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in carpentry AND concrete work (forming or finishing required)
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Strong understanding of concrete pouring, finishing, and curing techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications
- Good math, measurement, and layout skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
