Job SummaryWe are looking for a reliable, hard-working Catering Event Staff member to assist with the execution of various events. The primary focus of this role is the physical setup and teardown of event spaces, maintaining cleanliness of the grounds before, during, and after events, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSetup & Pre-EventTransport catering equipment, and supplies from vehicles to the event location.Setup tables, chairs, linens, and table settings according to floor plans.Decorate event areas as required (centerpieces, signage).Ensure all guest areas are clean, organized, and inviting before guests arrive.Event Execution & Ground MaintenanceMaintain cleanliness of the venue and surrounding grounds throughout the event.Promptly clear trash, debris, or spills from walkways and guest areas.Provide friendly, professional interaction with guests.Breakdown & Clean UpThoroughly clean and tear down the area after the event concludes.Remove all trash, tableware, linens, and furniture.Clean all serving equipment, pack it into transport containers, and load vehicles.Perform detailed cleanup of the venue grounds to restore them to their original condition.Sweep, mop, and sanitize designated areas, including restroom restocks if required.Requirements and QualificationsPhysical Stamina: Ability to stand/walk for 6-8 hours and lift/move up to 50+ pounds frequently (tables, chairs, heavy crates).Experience: Previous experience in catering, banquets, or general labor/event setup preferred.Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to cleaning and setup.Teamwork: Ability to take direction from event captains and work well with a team.#albor
