Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to support local delivery operations. This position is responsible for the timely and accurate transportation of goods, including loading and unloading, while providing a high level of professionalism and customer service. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Class A vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations
- Complete local delivery routes efficiently, ensuring on-time, same-day deliveries
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, including hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Lift and handle materials weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, team members, and customers
- Provide professional, courteous service at all delivery locations
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience
- Clean driving record, with no more than one moving violation within the past 3 years
- Tanker and/or Hazmat endorsements preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing 50 lbs or more
- Ability to safely operate loading/unloading equipment such as hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading deliveries
Work Schedule
- Local routes only-home daily
- Deliveries are completed within the same day
- No evening or weekend shifts required
