CDL-A Family Dollar Regional Fleet Driver Job Image

Twelve Western states, from Arizona and California up to Washington and Montana, make up the delivery map on this dedicated Family Dollar fleet based in St. George, UT.

This is an active job. You unload the trailer yourself using rollers, climbing in and out as needed, so it suits drivers who like to keep moving. Each week ends with a trip home for a 34-hour reset.

Lane Details:

  • Dedicated Family Dollar freight out of St. George, UT
  • Deliveries to customer locations in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming
  • Roller unloading, with climbing in and out of the trailer as needed

Schedule And Home Time:

  • Start time is 06:00 am, with workdays of up to 14 hours
  • Home weekly for a 34-hour reset
  • Days off vary with freight demand but fall on weekdays in most cases
  • Drivers living in Las Vegas run 2 weeks out followed by 3 days home

Equipment:

  • Company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks
  • Automatic transmissions
  • 53' dry van trailers
  • One of the newest fleets in the country, kept running smoothly so your rig doesn't slow you down

How You Earn:

  • Mileage pay plus pay per load
  • Safe and on-time mileage bonus
  • Guaranteed $1,400 minimum weekly if driver has no accidents, no service failures, refusals and is available 5.5 days

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 21 years of age or older
  • 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience

Pay Details:

  • Layover 24 hours - $200 per day
  • Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day
  • Training - Retraining Pay - $200 per day
  • Backhaul Pickup - $25 per load
  • St George backhaul pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage
  • Mentor pay - $50 per day - $250 per week
  • Mentor Road Test - $50 per road test
  • Clean DOT Inspection - $25
  • Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% Weekly
