CDL-A Intermodal Local Truck Driver

C.R. England, the premier long-haul refrigerated carrier in the country, has openings on a Local Intermodal route with top pay. A typical work shift will have multiple dispatches with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight.

• Valid CDL-A plus 3+ months of Class A CDL experience required

• This lane is not suitable for students or trainees

Lane Details:

• Average dispatch is within a 65-mile radius of the rail ramp. Dispatches could be up to 500-600 miles round trip.

• Drivers can expect to work 10-12 hours per day

• All tractors will leave and return to the yard daily

• Home Time: Home daily with 2 consecutive days off

• Drivers normally work 5 days a week, but can work an optional 6th day for extra pay

• Band Pay based on miles and experience

• Due to some of the regional runs we currently have in OH, MI, KY, IA, and WI there will be a lay over at least once per week on this fleet

Driver Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL

• 21 Years of age or older

• 3+ months of Class A CDL experience
