We are seeking a CDL Class B driver who is looking for a local route!
This position involves operating garbage trucks on designated routes, collecting waste, and ensuring timely and efficient service.
Requirements: CDL Class B License
Responsibilities:
- Work independently, driving the route and operating a lift (side-loader & end-loader experience preferred; however, they will train the right person)
- Maintain a clean and operable truck including all fluids and grease fittings
- Operate a CDL Class B garbage truck safely and efficiently
- Complete assigned routes for residential and/or commercial waste collection
- Assist with loading and unloading waste when needed
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate route and service records
- Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding route progress or issues
Requirements:
- Valid CDL Class B driver's license (required)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work as needed
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Previous waste management or route driving experience preferred
