Position Highlights
- Annual Earnings: $78,890 (including holidays)
- Weekly Pay:
- $1,610/week for 60-hour weeks
- $1,196/week for 48-hour weeks (every third week)
- Schedule: 60-60-48 rotating night shift (6 PM – 6 AM)
- Days Off: Monday & Tuesday on 60-hour weeks; Must be available to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.

Responsibilities
- Work safely at all times without incident. You are empowered to STOP work at any time due to unsafe conditions.
- Follow detailed procedures for loading and unloading sand, water, lube oil, and waste to service trains
- Remain fully loaded and available during on-duty hours to respond promptly to customer dispatches
- Provide complete, accurate service documentation within required timelines
- Stock crew packs and drinking water for locomotives
- Climb up and down locomotive ladders multiple times per shift
- Sweep out locomotive cabs, take out trash, and wipe down surfaces
- Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-shift vehicle and equipment inspections
- Use worker protection and comply with all customer safety rules and regulations
- Immediately report and contain any spills or safety-related incidents
- Assist with light maintenance and upkeep of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company-provided office space, storage, and equipment
- Keep all training, licenses, and certifications current
- Demonstrate reliability, safety, and professionalism through attendance, communication, and conduct
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Regional Manager or Site Leader
Qualifications
- Must have a Class A or Class B CDL with Airbrake Endorsement
- Must be able to clear all background checks required by the company, customer, and government
- Responsible for maintaining all required licenses and certifications at all times
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Must be reliable and dependable
- Must know when to ask for help
- Moderate computer skills required
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Physical Requirements
- Able to consistently bend, stoop, kneel, and climb on and off elevated surfaces
- May need to walk long distances on paved, unmaintained, or uneven surfaces
- Able to climb in and out of a truck cab multiple times per shift, and climb ladders or steps 10 or more times per day
- Able to drive and work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
- Willing to work with liquid non-hazardous and dry bulk materials
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
