Job Description:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and certified TIG Welder for a manufacturing company in the Dayton, Ohio area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced welder to join a stable, professional team with long-term potential. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-focused, and confident working with structural steel and precision welds.
Responsibilities:
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan welding layouts
• Perform TIG welding on small and large components including structural steel, beams, and piping
• Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Operate and monitor welding machinery and related equipment
• Inspect welded surfaces and components to ensure quality and accuracy
• Identify defects and make necessary repairs or adjustments
• Maintain welding equipment and perform basic maintenance as needed
• Follow strict safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid welding certification from an accredited institution required
• TIG welding certification required or minimum of 2+ years TIG welding experience
• Structural steel welding certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and hand tools
• Must pass an in-person interview, background check, and drug screen
