Chemical Processor Supervisor / 2nd Shift

Express Employment Professionals Cincinnati Northwest are seeking a skilled and dependable 2nd Shift Supervisor who will play a dual role-leading the shift team and actively participating in the chemical processing of aerospace hardware. This position requires both leadership and technical expertise to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations during the second shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the 2nd shift team, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production standards.
• Perform hands-on chemical processing of aerospace components, including surface treatments, cleaning, etching, and other related procedures.
• Monitor workflow and production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Train and mentor team members on proper chemical handling, processing techniques, and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation of processing steps, quality checks, and shift reports.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
• Collaborate with other shifts and departments to ensure smooth transitions and consistent operations.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• 3+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Previous supervisory or team lead experience.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality standards, and process documentation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
