Civil Engineer

Salary: $90K-$110K/year DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer with a strong background in Construction Materials Testing (CMT) to join its team. This role is vital in supporting a broad range of projects including residential and commercial developments, custom and production homes, multifamily structures, industrial facilities, municipal bridges and roadways, public buildings, and utility infrastructure.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado (required)
• Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience with a focus in construction materials testing

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate CMT projects with clients, engineering teams, developers, and contractors
• Review and evaluate test data including compaction (moisture-density), concrete, asphalt, reinforcement, and drainage inspections
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable municipal codes and standards
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Conduct site observations and attend construction meetings as needed
• Prepare proposals and coordinate directly with clients to define scope and expectations
• Lead, mentor, and supervise field technicians, ensuring high-quality work and compliance with safety and technical standards
