CNC Machine Operator - Structural Steel

About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to run Angle Master, Plate Burner, and Beamline systems in a high-paced structural steel production environment. This is a hands-on position where precision, safety, and teamwork matter.
You'll Do:
- Set up, operate, and calibrate CNC machinery for cutting, drilling, punching, and marking
- Handle and position raw steel materials using cranes and forklifts
- Inspect parts with precision tools to ensure specifications are met
- Maintain machines, follow OSHA safety protocols, and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Collaborate with foremen, programmers, and the production team to meet daily targets
You Bring:
- 2-3+ years CNC operation experience (structural steel preferred)
- Ability to read technical drawings & use calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Knowledge of steel grades, tolerances, and machining parameters
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Forklift certification and overhead crane experience a plus
