About the Role:
We're seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and program computer-controlled machines to produce precision metal and plastic parts. This role supports high-accuracy manufacturing in industries such as aerospace and industrial production.

Job Duties

• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders
• Load raw materials and select appropriate cutting tools
• Write, edit, and modify G-code programs
• Use CAD/CAM software to determine cutting speeds, feed rates, and toolpaths
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
• Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure equipment is operating properly
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety standards

Requirements

• Proficiency in CNC machine setup and operation
• Strong understanding of G-code and CAM software
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong shop math skills (geometry and trigonometry)
• High attention to detail and commitment to precision
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials
• High school diploma or GED required
• Technical training, vocational certification, or machining apprenticeship preferred
