CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistPay Rate: $20–$25/hourLocation: Corvallis, OR We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC programming, machining processes, and quality inspection while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Utilize supplied Mastercam programming software to create CNC programs for parts produced on Haas Mills and Turning Centers Program existing and new parts as needed to support shop production needs and outside job work Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components Complete small production runs with a focus on efficiency and repeatability Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications De-burr and inspect finished parts for accuracy, quality, and uniformity Use precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications Maintain machines in proper working order and report any issues as needed Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and machining speeds through additional tooling and make recommendations for tooling purchases Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Consistently arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance Qualifications: Previous CNC machining and programming experience preferred Experience with Mastercam or similar CNC programming software Experience operating Haas Mills and/or Turning Centers preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and inspection methods Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks This is a great opportunity for a skilled CNC Machinist looking to work on a variety of projects with small production runs in a precision manufacturing environment. #albor
