Salary: $28-29/hr

We're hiring a skilled CNC Machinist in Champaign for a hands-on, high-responsibility role. This is not an entry-level position-ideal candidates will bring recent, relevant experience in both CNC and manual machining.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and tear down 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC machines
• Perform tooling adjustments and diagnose mechanical issues
• Operate manual machines (mills, lathes, drills, grinders, saws)
• Read blueprints and follow process work instructions
• Apply basic programming and computer skills
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience, including setup and troubleshooting
• At least 5 years in a manufacturing environment with growing responsibilities
• Experience with tooling and ability to recognize machine behavior and needs
• Manual machining experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of mechanical processes and safe operation

Not a Fit If:

• You've been out of the trade for more than 2 years
• You've only operated CNC machines without setup, tooling, or diagnostic experience
