Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills, lathes, and other machining equipment safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations during production runs.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators.
- Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet required tolerances.
- Identify and report machine issues, tooling problems, or quality concerns to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Keep accurate production and inspection records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Assist with machine setups, fixture changes, and program adjustments when needed.
- Work closely with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience operating CNC machining equipment.
- Setup experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand machining specifications.
- Familiarity with G-code and CNC controls is beneficial.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise and metal materials.
