Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC plasma table and Voortman V808 beam line
- Perform daily machine start-up, calibration, and preventive maintenance
- Interpret blueprints and structural drawings accurately
- Burn and process structural steel components to tight tolerances
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain quality standards and production timelines
- Ensure safe operation of equipment at all times
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Voortman V808
- Proven ability to set up and run CNC plasma equipment independently
- Solid understanding of structural steel fabrication
- Experience reading blueprints and shop drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in an industrial environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
