Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on compactor machinery, including hydraulics and electrical components
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to implement effective solutions
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and adjustments
- Conduct field service calls (75-95% on-site work) to support customer needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery
- Communicate effectively with production staff regarding repairs and maintenance
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance (field service experience preferred, but not required)
- Proficiency in hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC/R, industrial mechanics, and welding
- Strong understanding of low voltage systems and their applications
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on equipment efficiency
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you'll be driving our service truck to customer sites)
- Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
