We are partnering with a growing local construction company for experienced Carpenters and Construction Laborers for steady, long-term work in the Champaign area. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone with solid construction experience who shows up ready to work, learns quickly, and takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform framing, trim, and finish carpentry on residential and light commercial projects
- Measure, cut, shape, and install wood and other building materials
- Construct and repair walls, floors, doorframes, fixtures, and structural components
- Complete painting and general construction tasks as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on construction or carpentry experience
- Experience with framing, trim/finish work, and general carpentry
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials
- Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, kneel, and work on your feet all day
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Champaign area
- Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Nice to Have:
- Additional carpentry, remodeling, or repair experience
- Painting or finish work experience
Work Environment:
- Residential and commercial construction sites
