Our client is seeking a reliable and experienced Cook to support food service operations in a school setting on a temporary, part-time basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and cold food items
- Cook and plate meals while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Prepare food for multiple meal periods, including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events
- Keep workstations clean, stocked, and organized at all times
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Support kitchen operations and contribute positively to the team
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Cook or Line Cook in a similar setting
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and standard cooking techniques
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to perform well under pressure
