Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Custom Applicator to safely and efficiently apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides using specialized agricultural equipment. This role requires strong equipment operation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work extended hours during peak seasons.
Responsibilities
- Operate sprayers, spreaders, and other application equipment in the field.
- Load, mix, and apply crop-protection products per instructions and safety guidelines.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure precise application rates.
- Maintain accurate application records in compliance with regulations.
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Assist with product handling, warehouse work, or deliveries as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license (CDL Class A preferred).
- Commercial Pesticide Applicator License, or ability to obtain.
- Experience operating agricultural or heavy equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and basic repairs.
- Ability to work long hours during busy seasons.
- Commitment to safety and accuracy.
