Delivery Driver| 8:30AM - 5:00PM | $18.00/hr - $21.00/hr

Days of the week: Mon - Fri (every other Saturday) or Tue - Saturday

Decatur, IL - Delivery of commercial and residential packages for FedEx.

Job Requirements for Delivery Driver

• Previous delivery experience is a plus but not required
• Able to lift and carry packages
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and carry up to 150 lbs using a dolly
• A valid driver's license (CDL not required)
• A good driving record
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines
• Good communication skills need to interact with customers and dispatchers

Job Responsibilities for Delivery Driver

• Deliver and pick up packages in a courteous and efficient manner
• Determine route for 100-150 scheduled stops per day
• Ensure time commitments for sensitive packages are met
• Use handheld device to scan packages
• Operate the vehicle in a safe manner
• Interact with customers to answer questions, handle complaints, and obtain signatures when needed
• Maintain accurate records
