Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dermatologist to join our healthcare team. The Dermatologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, performing medical and cosmetic dermatologic procedures, and providing personalized, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to delivering high-quality clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat skin conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, infections, and skin cancers.
- Perform skin examinations, biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, and other dermatologic procedures.
- Provide cosmetic dermatology services such as Botox, fillers, chemical peels, and laser treatments (as applicable).
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical assessments.
- Educate patients on skincare, skin cancer prevention, and long-term management of chronic skin conditions.
- Interpret diagnostic tests including pathology reports, dermatoscopic findings, and laboratory results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely patient records in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
- Stay current with advancements in dermatology through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited Dermatology residency program.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Dermatology.
- Valid state medical license (or ability to obtain one).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient counseling skills.
- Commitment to high ethical standards and evidence-based practice.
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Experience with cosmetic dermatologic procedures (optional based on setting).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
