Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and distribute daily work assignments as directed by management.
- Support transportation and warehouse operations to ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
- Communicate regularly with carriers, drivers, and internal teams regarding shipments and scheduling.
- Review and verify carrier paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain records, documentation, and filing systems.
- Monitor shipment activity and provide updates when needed.
- Perform C-TPAT procedures and follow company security protocols.
- Assist with resolving transportation and scheduling issues as they arise.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Good math, reading, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer systems.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and dependable with a strong work ethic.
