Dry End Production Team Member (Temporary) – Corvallis, OR
Pay: $17.50/hourShift Differentials: Swing Shift: +$1.50/hour | Night Shift: +$3.00/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our production team in a temporary, full-time role. In this position, you'll help support daily manufacturing operations by operating equipment, monitoring product quality, packaging finished products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining excellent attendance and reliability.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment safely and efficiently.
Remove products from the production line and transfer them to post-processing operations.
Inspect products for quality and report defects or equipment issues promptly.
Ensure products meet production schedules and specifications.
Package finished products according to company standards.
Complete production paperwork, labels, and documentation accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Report safety concerns, incidents, or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Set up, adjust, clean, and assist with basic maintenance of production equipment.
Assist with troubleshooting alongside maintenance personnel when needed.
Operate a forklift as needed (training provided).
Cross-train on multiple production lines and equipment.
Assist with housekeeping, shift transitions, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic math and problem-solving skills.
Effective verbal communication skills in English.
Forklift certification preferred or willingness to become certified.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Physical Requirements
Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Work in warm manufacturing environments where temperatures may exceed 100°F.
Perform repetitive bending, reaching, kneeling, stretching, and other physical tasks.
Strong manual dexterity, visual attention to detail, and color recognition.
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
