Key Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial press machines for shirts, pants, jackets, dresses, and specialty garments
- Inspect garments before and after pressing to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify fabric types and adjust pressing techniques accordingly
- Follow proper handling procedures to prevent damage or shrinkage
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining high quality
- Work collaboratively with cleaning and front counter staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in dry cleaning or garment pressing preferred (training available for motivated candidates)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
