Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrician Apprentice to join our team. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced electricians to gain hands-on training and knowledge in the electrical trade. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in a high-demand field while earning competitive pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist electricians with the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential settings.
- Learn and apply proper safety procedures when working with electrical equipment and systems.
- Run conduit, pull wire, and connect electrical components under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand wiring layouts.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems and components to identify and resolve issues.
- Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces clean, organized, and in good working condition.
- Attend and complete required technical training classes and on-the-job training hours for certification or licensure.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of electrical principles and a strong willingness to learn.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces, heights, and various weather conditions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
