Bell Brothers is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on residential electrical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying potential issues before they become major problems, and delivering high-quality service on every visit.
Key Responsibilities
Preventative Maintenance & Inspections
- Perform routine electrical system inspections, identifying wear, safety concerns, and code compliance issues
- Conduct preventative maintenance on panels, circuits, outlets, lighting, and other residential electrical components
Troubleshooting & Minor Repairs
- Diagnose basic electrical issues and complete minor repairs during maintenance visits
- Escalate larger or more complex issues to appropriate teams when needed
Customer Experience
- Deliver exceptional customer service by clearly explaining findings and recommendations
- Educate homeowners on system performance, safety, and potential upgrades
- Build long-term customer relationships through trust and professionalism
Service Opportunities
- Identify opportunities for system improvements, upgrades, or additional services
- Communicate recommendations effectively to support overall company growth
Documentation & Reporting
- Accurately document inspections, maintenance performed, and recommended work
- Maintain service records using company systems and tools
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with electricians, installers, and sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Support overall team goals and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of residential electrical systems
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance, service, or a related field preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical trainee card or relevant certification
- Experience in home services (electrical, HVAC, or plumbing)
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs or membership-based service models
