Basic Function Summary: This position is responsible for safely assembling, labeling, testing, and packaging various types of mechanical and electro-mechanical devices per documented work instructions. Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, performing quality inspections, working with the ERP System, communicating with management, maintaining and organizing the work area, and retrieving parts from inventory. Monday - Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM

• Uses both powered and unpowered hand tools to perform assembly operations involving sheet metal
  components, circuit boards, and other electronic components.
• Reads and interprets work instructions to determine proper assembly procedures.
• Works with Lead Assembler or management to set up and change over the assembly line for safe and efficient operation.
• Performs testing on finished products using menu driven diagnostic software
• Packages finished product for shipment per work instructions.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
• Follow all safety rules and safe work practices.
• Performs other duties as required to meet company needs as assigned by supervisor

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Basic English reading and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with other production employees and management.
• Able to follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
• Understands quality systems- ISO experience helpful.
• Possesses the dexterity to handle small fasteners and parts.
• Able to multitask and handle the pressure of a fasted paced, deadline driven environment.
• Has the work ethic to consistently work 40 hours per week.
• Able to work overtime hours as needed.
• Able to work in an industrial, non-air-conditioned environment.
• Able to lift, push, pull, carry, and move up to 50 pounds of parts occasionally throughout the workday.
• Able to pass a substance screen and background check.
