Express Employment Professionals is partnered with a local employer to fill an Energy Delivery Specialist position. Position Summary

The Energy Delivery Specialist is responsible for the safe, timely, and compliant delivery of refined fuels, propane, lubricants, and related energy products to agricultural, commercial, and residential customers. This role requires operating commercial motor vehicles, maintaining regulatory compliance, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery Operations

• Safely transport and deliver fuel, propane, lubricants, and other energy products.
• Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate pumps, meters, valves, and hoses to transfer products safely.
• Complete delivery tickets, billing documentation, and compliance records accurately.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Respond to emergency service calls and customer needs.

Installation & Service

• Assist with installation and service of fuel tanks, propane tanks, pumps, meters, regulators, and dispensing systems.
• Conduct pressure testing and leak checks.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
• Follow spill prevention and environmental protection procedures.

Safety & Compliance

• Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and applicable safety regulations.
• Participate in required training and drug/alcohol testing programs.
• Report accidents, spills, leaks, and safety concerns promptly.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance on trucks, trailers, pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Assist with inventory monitoring, tank checks, and product reconciliation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• Current DOT Medical Certification.
• Ability to obtain or maintain CTEP certification within six months of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Preferred

• Previous experience in energy delivery, fuel transportation, propane delivery, or related operations.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles and handling hazardous materials.

Compensation & Benefits
