Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation duties throughout the facility in support of infection control standards
- Follow established daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning schedules
- Apply proper cleaning techniques according to product guidelines
- Safely use cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for staff and visitors
- Restock and requisition cleaning supplies as needed
- Complete assigned tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Monitor facility safety, including securing doors and checking equipment use after hours
- Follow safety procedures when using chemical cleaners and powered equipment
- Report maintenance issues or repair needs to management
- Assist with minor facility maintenance tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated with the ability to stay productive in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of building systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.) preferred
- Familiarity with janitorial tools and cleaning products
- High school diploma or equivalent required
