Express Employment Professionals of Everett is hiring an Equipment Maintenance Tech / Mechanic for a leading manufacturer of custom plastic extrusion products located in Everett, WA. Starting pay is $26 -$30 per hour. This is a full-time, position on the night shift working 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on a rotating Pitman schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off).

This facility produces custom extruded profiles for windows, doors, and other building applications. The company offers long-term growth, a strong safety culture, and hands-on problem-solving opportunities.
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Perform preventive and emergency maintenance on extrusion machinery and building systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and HVAC systems
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain safe operations
• Support a safety-first culture and mentor others when needed

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills (extrusion experience a plus)
• Hands-on experience with pneumatic tools and machine diagnostics
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
• Comfortable standing, bending, and lifting during 12-hour shifts
