Express Employment Professionals is seeking Facilities HVAC Technician! The Facilities Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the efficient operation of building HVAC systems, including air compressors, air dryers, and variable-speed air handlers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of rooftop HVAC units.
• Conduct chemical treatment and testing of all closed water systems, maintaining proper records.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and digital control systems related to HVAC systems.
• Assist with general facilities tasks, including building and grounds maintenance, furniture relocation, general equipment repair, and snow removal.
• Participate in the after-hours 'on-call' rotation, providing 24/7 emergency response to alarms or urgent requests within 20-30 minutes at all sites.
• Operate company or personal vehicle in a safe and professional manner when traveling between locations.
• Demonstrate and promote the organization's mission, vision, and core values in all interactions.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with departments, management, and staff.

• Ensure responsible use of organizational resources, including financial, human, and material assets.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including air handling and air compressor equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical, pneumatic, and digital control systems.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Effective organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work independently and respond promptly to after-hours calls.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the operation and maintenance of HVAC equipment required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in HVAC Design & Maintenance preferred.
