Facilities Maintenance

Our client, a nonprofit senior living community in Weston, is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with building maintenance experience who enjoys a variety of hands-on work, including boiler maintenance, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general facility repairs.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay: $25.00 - $37.50/hour

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:

• Perform daily steam boiler maintenance and inspections
• Complete general building maintenance and repair projects
• Perform basic carpentry, painting, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Maintain and repair facility equipment and mechanical systems
• Assist with grounds maintenance and other general labor tasks
• Ensure the facility remains clean, safe, and well maintained
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete preventative maintenance

Qualifications of the Maintenance Technician:

• At least 1 year of building maintenance experience required
• Steam boiler experience 
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
• Ability to read blueprints, repair manuals, and equipment specifications
• Experience using hand and power tools
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
