A well-established Central Oregon non-profit is seeking a detail-loving, systems-savvy Finance Manager to help keep our organization running smoothly during a time of transition. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys nonprofit finance, thrives on accuracy and organization, and wants their work to directly support programs that matter. You'll be a key partner to staff and leadership, ensuring the organization has the financial clarity, systems, and compliance needed to steward our resources responsibly.

What You Get to Do!
Finance Systems & Bookkeeping - You'll keep the organization's day-to-day finances accurate, compliant, and running like clockwork:
• Manage accounts receivable and payable using QuickBooks Online and bill.com
• Record and reconcile donations from multiple platforms (Paragon, Stripe, PayPal, Benevity, Square, Vanguard)
• Track pledges, restricted funds, and recurring donors in collaboration with the Development team
• Make bank deposits, reconcile transactions weekly, and run aging reports
• Maintain a clear, up-to-date Finance How-To Guide so staff can confidently follow procedures
• Support bi-monthly bill pay, staff reimbursements, mileage, and credit card receipts
• Maintain and optimize finance systems and software
• Monitor and manage cash flow, especially around payroll
• Track fund restrictions and releases in alignment with funder agreements
• Create annual program budget workbooks and quarterly budget vs. actual reports
• Meet with program managers to review financial performance and answer questions
• Contribute to the annual organizational budget and enter it into QBO
• Maintain grant tracking in partnership with Development and Program teams
• Support payroll processing as needed
• Manage contractor 1099s and annual filings
• Maintain required local, state, and federal registrations
• Prepare documentation for audits and work closely with external accountants
• Attend Finance Committee meetings (bi-monthly) and key fundraising/facility meetings
• Support staff with templates, reporting tools, and finance check-ins

What You Will Bring…
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Experience in nonprofit accounting or finance
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online (and comfort learning related tools)
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Clear communicator who enjoys supporting and educating teammates
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
• Passion for the work you do and the people you do it with!
