Job Title: Diesel Technician

Pay: 18-24/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of vehicles. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service that ensures customer satisfaction and vehicle safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical issues using diagnostic equipment and tools.
• Conduct detailed inspections to identify needed repairs and communicate findings to service advisors and customers.
• Repair or replace defective parts, including brakes, steering components, suspension systems, and engines.
• Test and ensure proper functioning of vehicles after service or repair.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow safety protocols, shop procedures, and manufacturer guidelines.
• Stay up to date with new automotive technology, tools, and repair techniques.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or similar role.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with automotive tools, repair equipment, and computerized diagnostic systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• ASE Certification (preferred but not required).

Physical Requirements
